Women's Guild

Women's Guild at St. Matthew > Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish

St. John the Baptist’s Catholic Women’s Guild serves by providing financial support and gifts of time for needs within our parish and Christian community, as well as fellowship and camaraderie for Catholic women of all ages and walks of life.

Throughout the year the Guild donates funds for parish programs, including academic scholarships for graduating students from King City High School, assistance for our Faith Formation programs, grocery gift cards for needy families during the holiday season and cash grants for the Monterey Diocese’s Annual Ministry Appeal (AMA) for seminary education.

We also volunteer our time and financial assistance to fundraising events hosted by the Knights of Columbus’ men’s group when asked, including the annual parish dinner and monthly bingo nights.

Guild fund raising activities include the Salad Bar Luncheon in May, Calendar of Prizes drawing in the spring and a Christmas Home Tour.

Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month, hosted by Guild members in their homes. For membership contact information, please inquire at the Parish office during normal business hours.
